NZQA Record of Achievement
About the Record of Achievement (ROA)
When a learner enrols in a programme that leads to National Qualification Framework (NQF) credits, their details and registration fee are forwarded to NZQA. They will be registered on the NQF for a Record of Achievement and given a unique learner identification number called a National Student Number (NSN).
Learners can accumulate Framework credits over a number of years and from many providers until they have completed a qualification. A ROA provides an employer with a profile of a learner's achievements.
If you are a student who is not yet registered on the Framework, you can access the Registration form in Adobe PDF.
Getting a copy of an ROA
Learners are entitled to one free copy of their ROA if they have gained some credits in the previous year. You can also access your results through the website using your NSN (National Student Number) and password. However, the document on the website will not be an official transcript - a copy of this will still need to be obtained from NZQA.
